His specialty is the area of tax consulting, with emphasis on indirect taxes, acting mainly in the analysis of tax aspects involved in tax planning, corporate reorganizations, financial market operations and taxation in international operations.
His work involves the preparation of legal opinions on tax issues, advice on investments by foreign companies in Brazil and their tax impacts, structuring of corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, strategic analysis of tax issues; opinions on the interpretation of federal, state and municipal regulations; consultations with tax authorities on the interpretation of tax legislation; requests for granting special regimes and tax incentives to finance departments; analysis of processes and balance sheets in legal due diligence; analysis of tax impacts on corporate restructuring; study for opening new companies in Brazil and analysis of procedures for calculating indirect taxes.
Before founding CH Law, Victor was associated with one of the most renowned law firms in the country, in addition to being a partner in a respected administrative tax consulting firm.
